Kwanza brought its exciting new slate to the online edition of Mipcom 2020

At this year’s Mipcom, Kwanza presented its Fall 2020 programming, including: “Maya: Ancient Metropolis” (3x52’, 4K) which explores the architectural prowess of the mysterious civilization, "Easter Island, Sculptor of the Pacific" (1x52', 4K), unveiling the secrets of the Moai, the ancient statues dispatched all over the island, "The Harvest Mouse: Grassland Acrobat" (1x52', 4K) following the strong little mouse Alana in her amazing adventures, or "Insects for Dinner" (1x52', 4K), revolutionizing our idea about tomorrow’s possible diet!

Easter Island: Sculptors of the Pacific (1 x 52')

Synopsis:

Since generations, the moai have been one of the most famous archeological and architectural mystery on earth. How were these giant statued carved around the island ? Thanks to CGI and insights from the most renown experts, shake up popular beliefs and discover Rapa Nui’s building techniques.

The Harvest Mouse: Grassland Acrobat (1 x 52')

Synopsis:

Alana is a phenomenon of nature: like all her peers living in the tall grass, she can perform antics worthy of the most gifted monkeys and build astonishing nests! But, now considered an endangered species, she has to fight for her survival. Told on a minute scale, from the mouse’s point of view, this one-off follows the adventures of the grassland's tiny acrobat!

Insects for Dinner (1 x 52')

Synopsis:

A cricket gratin, a maggot salad…this might be our diet of tomorrow. As we’ll soon have 10 billions of mouth to feed, insects seem to be the ultimate problem-solver. But the insects diet also comes with a good number of problems: what species is the most nutritive to consume? Will we really be capable of overcoming our prejudice to save the world?
